Great place with warm atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. Food was very flavorful and good value for money. We ordered the set dinner but probably will go for a la carte next time since there were a couple of items that we didn’t like. Also the ventilation was not the best so be prepared to wear a grilled beef smell!

Busy place. We arrived around 7pm and went back to our apartment as there was no availability until 9. Worth the wait. Excellent food and well priced for the quality. Service was superb!

It was hard to get a place to eat at Temma, if you don't speak Japanese and even more difficult to get a place at a recommended restaurant if you don't have a reservation. The staff at "烧肉” were unable to speak English, but they were helpful enough to try. We managed to order a set of meat to try Japanese BBQ. Overall it was a pleasant and warm experience from the friendly and keen to help staff.

焼肉たまき Rainy night, decided to have grill dinner but was told to come back at 9pm if we were still keen. Goshhh!! It was 7pm then. Looking at the queue, we thought it may be worth the wait. Should be good. We went shopping and returned at 9 and sure enough, we got a place. The wait was all worthwhile. The beef were top quality and the service was great. Helmed by several young dudes who wouldn't mind chatting up with you if you are game for it. They were approachable and friendly, but a little shy due to lack of English. However they opened up when we also try to converse with our broken Japanese! Price was on the high side but with beef, I began to understand that if you are wiling to pay for it, you get premium cuts. Cheaper prices usually end up with lower quality meats, which may not measure up to your expectations. At Takami, for an average proper dinner, be prepared to fork out about at least 3000y per pax. But i reckoned its all worth it... Ambience, wonderful. It has that laid-back feel with one side bar or counter top dining while the other side has the low table tatami style. People coming here were all quite chill... It is located inside the walking street under cover, so no worries if it is raining. For me, I had a wonderful experience with both the food and the crew. I want to come back! But 2 things - be prepared to wait AND... be prepared to wash clothes and hair after meal. The air inside this place is super beefy....

Outstanding Yakiniku restaurant! They are open very late. The staff are all very friendly. Beef was delicious.
